Operations Manager

Trillium is now hiring in San Diego!

Our client is a national fire protection and life safety company specializing in products and services. They are now looking to bring on an Operations Manager to oversee and manage all construction and installations activities for fire alarm systems in various commercial and residential projects while also leading a team of superintendents, foreman, and fire alarm techs. This is a direct hire opportunity with a salary offered between $120k and $150k plus benefits like M/V/D, PTO, 401k, bonuses, etc. 

Duties:
-Plan, coordinate, and execute fire alarm system construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, design drawings, local building codes and safety regulations. 
-Prepare, review, manage and submit all project documentation including: RFIs, change orders, T&M pricing sheets, field bulletins, extra tickets, etc.  
-Prepare and submit project reports, documentation, and other required deliverables to management and clients. 
-Conduct routine safety inspections to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards, and take necessary corrective actions to mitigate risks. 
-Provide technical support and guidance to the field team, troubleshoot installation and system issues, and ensure proper functioning of installed fire alarm systems. 
-Review contracts for interpretation of inclusions/exclusions for construction installation activities

Qualifications:
-Proven experience (5+ years) in managing fire alarm system construction projects, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role. 
-Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, including NFPA codes and regulations, electrical wiring, circuitry, and control panels. 

-Excellent project management abilities, including the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively. 
-Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and technical specifications. 
-Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of technicians and subcontractors. 
-Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
